You can't miss a stop at the Heroes' graveyard, situated along the trail leading to Valbruna. This graveyard is named after the Austrian soldiers who actually built it.

It was designed by the Lieutenant Grosschedel and built by the Second Lieutenant and engineer Videreni (who is also the artist responsible for the beautiful painting inside the chapel). Here, all the WWI soldiers fallen on the surrounding mountains were laid to rest.
